Last week we had our poetry ILT. ILT stands for Integrated Learning Task. We are put into groups of three to four. Some of the work is individual and some of it is group work. We had to things like, write a poem relating to a theme, answer a few questions on a poem and a lot more. In my group was Mbali and Christian. We struggled a bit with time management but overall we worked well together. For task one we had to do poetry terminology which was easy. On Wednesday the 9th the grade 5s left for High Africa to go on camp. When we arrived we got our cabin numbers and met the leaders. We got split into groups. I was in group 5. I wasn't to happy about who was in my group but I got two of my friends. We did Walk-cries, rafting, rock climbing, leap of faith, long walk to freedom and puzzle mazes. My group did the leap of faith first. In the leap of faith you have a harness around you and you must jump to grab the bar. Next we did rafting because the knots we tied came lose and the raft fell apart. During the night we did a night walk. I didn't like it to much because it was very dark and we weren't aloud to bring torches. It was even worse because the boys kept scaring people. The next day we did rock climbing but I didn't want to go. Next we did puzzle mazes but it was very hard. Lastly we did the long walk to freedom. In the long walk to freedom you have to help each other to get across a hard rope coarse. Every time you...
